Questions, answered

Why two tanks instead of one?+

Separating the softener and carbon into two tanks gives each media more capacity and a longer service life. In larger homes, a single tank can run out of carbon or resin faster. Two tanks also let us service one without taking the other offline.

Do I need this for a 3-bathroom home?+

Usually no. The flagship one-tank system handles 1 to 4 bathrooms well. The dual-tank is for 4 or more bathrooms, heavy chlorine, or homes that want the longest media life.

Is it louder or bigger?+

It needs a bit more floor space for the second tank, but it's just as quiet. Both tanks regenerate on a meter based on your water use.

Can I add UV or a prefilter?+

Yes. Add a whole-house sediment prefilter for $279 or UV disinfection for $699, which is common on well homes that want a backup disinfection layer.
